How best to select your jewellery

The most important criteria to consider in making a decision are the age of your little princess and the style of earrings. For a baby’s first earrings, we definitely recommend the front back (dangle) fastening, which closes at the front and lasts until about the age of 5. After that, you will need to choose the larger leverback type of fastening, which can be worn even into the teenage years. If you prefer a post fastening, we recommend earrings with a screw back, but only from the age of about 6 months, because the shank (the rod that goes through the ear) is the thickest in this type of earring.

For most earrings and pendants, you can find scale photos, or a specific piece of jewellery pictured on a little girl on our website. If, however, you wish to verify the information or need more details, please contact us by e-mail at email info@danfil.co.uk, we would be happy to provide you with further information and send you any required photos.

Yes, if we have the earrings in stock or displayed in our showroom, we would be happy to take pictures of them. We can also send a photo of coloured stone samples for you to consider the appropriate shade. Write to us at info@danfil.co.uk and we would be glad to fulfil your wishes.

The advantage of the configurator is that you can easily define the shape, style, type of fastening and colour of stone you want. For each model, the configurator will offer a selection indicating which stone colour can be combined with your choice.

Yes. If you have a clear idea of the jewellery you want, but can’t find it anywhere, we would be happy to create custom gold jewellery for you. Just send a more detailed description of your concept. Please describe the shape, dimensions, gold colour and what stones you would like to have set. You may also send a drawing or photo of a similar jewel to info@danfil.co.uk and we will contact you.
We will then contact you and together we will transform your ideas into a beautiful and original jewel.

We do not issue certificates for our children's earrings. You can be sure that they are made of 14k gold 585/1000, as the earrings are stamped with a hallmark of the State Assay Office in Jablonec nad Nisou and with our company “FIL” hallmark.

If you bought earrings with front back fastenings for your princess (for babies) and they are too small for her now, you can replace the fastenings for the larger lever back type for 20 GBP.
Delivery time, shipment and payments

We offer two payment options:
- Cashless via PayU service - PayU supports all types of payment cards.
- Bank transfer – we will place your order into production as soon as the payment reaches our account. Account number: CZ7880400000002291112473 and use the order number as the variable symbol (numbers only, without other characters, if the order number contains any).

For jewellery marked as "In stock" the jewel is usually delivered within 2-3 days of placing an order. Other jewellery is delivered within 10 business days. If for any reason there is a risk that it will not be possible for us to deliver the jewellery on the promised date, we will contact you by phone and, based on a mutual agreement, we will either suggest a new delivery date or other alternative solution so that you are satisfied to the extent possible.

You don't have to worry about the safety of your jewellery. The price of shipment also includes insurance in the event of loss by the shipping company. To ensure your earrings are snug as a bug in a rug, we will first place them in an original Danfil box, and then in another box with polystyrene lining.

You can track the path of the earrings to your address on the DPD or UPS websites. All you have to do is click on the link to the website and enter the tracking code, which we will send you after the order has been completed.

Of course, it is possible. If, for any reason, you wish to receive the jewellery some time after placing your order (e.g. you are waiting for an anniversary, birthday, etc.), we would be happy to accommodate your request. Just enter the delivery date in the notes when placing your order.
Guarantee, warranty claims and replacement

The statutory warranty period for all jewelry is 2 years and for the return of goods without giving a reason is the standard 14 days from receipt of the goods. But we will be happy to take care of your jewellery during and after the warranty period. We offer all our customers above-standard service, which includes, for example.

If you find that your jewellery is damaged, all you have to do is fill in this form and send it, along with the goods, back to our address: Lomova 704, Liberec 25, 463 12, Czech Republic. Make sure to include a copy of the invoice in the package.
We will inspect the earrings and assess the severity of the damage. The warranty claim may be resolved in 2 ways:
- Repair of the jewellery - if possible, we will repair your jewellery. We do not wait 30 days for the legal period to expire, but we try to send the jewelry to you again within a maximum of 2 weeks. By prior arrangement, in exceptional cases, the time can be accelerated.
- Production of new jewellery - we will produce the jewellery again and send it back to your address within 10 days.
Of course, you do not have to pay any fees for the complaint, and if you send us a copy of the delivery note together with your account number, we will be happy to reimburse you for the costs of postage.

Whether its size does not suit you, or you have changed your mind about buying the earrings, you can return them to us within 14 days without explanation, or choose new earrings.
We will need you to:
- Fill out this form and send it, along with the jewellery to our address.
- Include a copy of the invoice in the package.
- Enter the account number to which you want us to refund the money.
- Enter the number of the new jewel, if you want to replace it.
Additional services

Beautiful packaging - We will automatically wrap the ordered jewelry in a beautiful suede box with the Danfil logo tied with a decorative bow. We will put all this in a paper-colored gift bag of the same color, you will only be able to hand over the jewel to a loved one..
Above-standard service - We will be happy to take care of your jewelry during and after the warranty period. Danfil offers an above-standard service, which includes cleaning the jewelry, changing the earring closure for a surcharge, a new finish and more.

Before you put the earrings on your princess for the first time, soak them in alcohol for at least 24 hours, preferably the night before piercing the ear. The earrings will be disinfected and the hole in the ear will not become infected.

If you want the earrings polished or otherwise re-finished, you have this option for free as part of our lifetime after-sales service. This service also includes changing earring fastening, if the earrings become too small for the wearer.
